We are seeking qualified candidates to work in a team setting for these full time, seasonal positions. Installing, repairing and replacing asphalt shingles, cedar, steel and EPDM roofing systems, eavestrough systems, siding, insulation and other general contracting duties as needed.
 

Wages
Wages range from $22 to $30 per hour based on experience
Full-time hours range between 35 to 45 hours weather permitting
 

Qualifications
Capable of working at heights
Must be proficient in pitched and or flat roofing
Must have a minimum of 2years experience in commercial and or residential roofing
Some knowledge in various roofing systems
Physically capable and able to work independently as well as with small teams
Ability to take instructions and execute tasks
Willingness to work year round and in all weather conditions
Able to work in a fast pace environment
Must be reliable and consistently available Monday to Friday, and some weekends during busy season
Working at Heights Ontario Certification is preferred
Must own all required personal tools and safety equipment (knives, blades, hatchet, harness, safety boots, ropes/anchors etc.)
 

Job Duties

Install sheet metal flashings, install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools, Install, repair or replace built-up roofing systems using materials such as asphalt saturated felts and hot asphalt and gravel

Apply waterproof coatings to concrete or other masonry surfaces below or above ground level 

Apply waterproofing coatings and various roof assemblies such as BUR, mod-bit and single ply systems

Install, repair or replace single-ply roofing system using waterproof sheet materials such as modified plastics, elastomeric or other asphaltic compositions
Maintain a safe work environment from set up until job completion
Follow all safety regulations as set by the company and Ontario safety codes
Operate various equipment such as hoists and lifts
Set up and clean up of job site 

Load and unload work vehicles to prepare for each work day
